Of all Mihm's films, this may have the best writing. The script is tight and the atmosphere is thick. A great send-up to the Old Dark House style of film that never gets old. His usual cast of players give some of their best performances in a truly inspired recreation of a timeless genre. Seek it out on a cold dark night. You won't regret!!

A well-done nostalgic film
If you've ever watched some of the old classic horror movies like THE OLD DARK HOUSE and treasure atmospheric spookiness, this is a great film to watch on "a dark and stormy night". The camerawork is much better than one is led to expect and the music fits in well with each scene. The actors are corny and engaging. The special effects? If you are looking for CGI and blood and gore, then HOUSE OF GHOSTS is definitely not your cuppa. An enthusiastic thumbs up!

Great homage to 50's horror!
For those who "get it" Mihm makes wonderful homages to the classic black and white horror and sci-fi movies of the 1950's!
